Description
The galvanized coil is used to immerse the thin steel plate in the melted zinc tank to make a layer of zinc thin steel plate adhere to its surface. It is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the coiled steel plate is continuously immersed in a plating tank with melted zinc to make galvanized steel plates; alloyed galvanized steel plates. This steel plate is also made by hot dip method, but after being discharged from the tank, it is immediately heated to about 500°C to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good coating bonding and welding properties. The galvanized layer can reduce the rust (white rust) caused by passivation treatment under moisture and temperature storage and transportation conditions. However, the corrosion resistance of this chemical treatment is limited and hinders the adhesion of most paints. This treatment is generally not required for zinc-iron alloy coating. Except for the polished surface, as conventional, manufacturers passivate other types of galvanized layers. 6.2 Oiling and oiling can reduce the corrosion of steel plates under humid storage and transportation conditions. Re-oiling of steel plates and steel strips after passivation treatment will further reduce the corrosion of steel plates and steel strips under humid storage conditions. The oil layer should be able to be removed with degreasing agents that do not damage the zinc layer. 6.3 Paint seals can provide an additional corrosion resistance, especially fingerprint resistance by applying an extremely thin transparent organic coating film. Lubricity can be improved upon molding and acts as an adhesion base for subsequent coatings. 6.4 Phosphorylation is made by phosphating treatment to make galvanized steel plates of various types of coatings be coated without further treatment except for normal cleaning. This treatment can improve the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating and reduce the risk of corrosion during storage and transportation. After phosphating, it can be used with a suitable lubricant to improve molding performance. 6.5 Non-treatment Only when the orderer makes a request for non-treatment and is responsible for this, steel plates and steel strips supplied in accordance with this standard can be free from passivation or oiling or paint sealing or phosphating surface treatment.
